Private Credit: Upwards and Onwards, Is the Rising Trend Sustainable?
There is no stopping private credit growth in near future, but investors must think long term and preparing for a market downturn is the key to successful portfolio performance in 2023. Private credit is expected to continuing growing — and almost double by 2027 — but with rising interest rates, a recession threat looming and regulatory concerns, investors might consider focusing on less volatile sectors to create stabilized returns, the ones that are less sensitive to interest rates and inflation. The Private Credit Forum aims to focus on finding the sectors and strategies for long-term growth as private credit returns remain attractive.
