Demand for private credit, has grown significantly in recent years and in an era marked by rapid interest rate hikes, an unexpectedly resilient economy, and minimal default activity, private credit has proven to be a robust investment vehicle. Despite inflationary pressures and uncertain growth prospects, private credit fundraising has remained strong, offering attractive relative value compared to private equity and public credit. The question is, if the trend will continue or are we looking at an end of the “Golden-age”. According to research, with the 2025-2026 maturity wall estimated at approximately $277 billion, private credit fund managers are expected to play a significant role in the refinancing activities of leveraged loans. This includes $96 billion due in 2025 and $181 billion in 2026.
Both U.S. and European lenders are exercising caution, leading to a tighter capital market for consumer lenders. Against this backdrop the forum will focus on how integrating private credit can fortify your portfolio against macroeconomic uncertainties and meet your investment goals.
Join us for our inaugural Private Credit Forum on November 19-20th, 2024, in Austin, TX, to discuss the best practices for monitoring and evaluating portfolios to manage liquidity challenges and debt obligations effectively.
