The Overton window consists of the range of ideas accepted within normal discourse. The saying goes that an idea’s political viability relies not on its own substance – but rather whether or not it falls within the window.
Portfolio management is not exempt.
The 2019 Endowments & Foundations Roundtable will explore the Overton window of institutional investing – and push the window to the very limits of acceptability.
First, you will hear – and participate in – debates upon the ideas entrenched firmly within the window. Next, we will shift the terms of debate beyond what is traditionally acceptable, normal, and perhaps even prudent.
